My name is Lisa. I have been doing IT work since the early 90’s and am currently working professionally in that field. My background is comprised of over 40 years of F Around and Find Out as well as professional training. My background includes military, private sector (telco), and public sector (government IT).

I maintain a server, PowerEdge R630, that I use to protect as much of my privacy as I can through a self-hosted DNS server, AdGuard. I addition I self-host OpenVPN so that my mobile devices are still utilizing my AdGuard installation. Once connected with VPN, I self-host Whoogle which provides filtered google results to further attempt to protect my privacy.

Senior citizens in my neighborhood utilize me as local support to help them feel more secure in their online experience.

I also Disc Golf! I enjoy the community and the sport. Disc Golf posts will also pepper the feed, especially when there is a tournament. Here is a picture of my new disc golf rig, it’ll be here in a week or so!
